In 2018, after several years in the fast-paced world of fashion PR in New York City, Taylor returned to North Carolina to pursue her dream of launching a stationery and gift business. While planning her own wedding, she discovered the joy of designing paper goods, which seamlessly aligned with her vision of Surcie.

At the same time, Mary was pursuing her studies in Interior Design, honing her eye for detail and aesthetics. Recognizing their shared love for design and personal touch, Taylor and Mary combined their talents to bring Surcie to life.

Today, Surcie is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, but our commitment extends to clients across the country. Our small creative team is dedicated to bringing your vision to life and creating a beautiful paper trail throughout all of life’s celebrations.
